Reconfiguring down to 200sqm in Brisbane has previously been a hard ask, but that’s exactly what Insight Planning and Development and Davran Developments achieved at 150 School Rd, Yeronga. Negotiations with Council throughout the application process demonstrated Council was supportive of achieving smaller lots in the Low-medium density residential zone, supporting the provision of housing amidst the Brisbane’s housing affordability crisis.
Approval was achieved in 3.5 months, including one month of public advertising, highlighting that even impact assessable applications can be approved in relatively quick time frames in Brisbane.
Sealing and construction of two new houses on the site is intended to commence in 2026.
