Approval was received in June 2026 for 6 x 3 storey townhouses in Ormiston, Redland Bay after a 4 month assessment process.

The development provides a highly amenable outcome with plentiful internal living spaces supported by large balconies and tailored landscaping. The site is well located, being nearby major roads, the Cleveland railway station and town centre area, ensuring it is well suited to supporting an increase in housing for families in the area.

The developer for this project led the consultant team, working with Insight Planning and Development’s specialist town planning advice to coordinate the team towards plan finalisation. From engagement to lodgement in one month, and approval 4 months later, the developer and Insight Planning & Development worked hard to put forward a largely compliant development application while reducing any unnecessary holding costs for the client – a win win.
