Being part of the dream to open a brewery in Brisbane is one of the most rewarding processes Insight Planning and Development have ever been involved in. Starting in 2017, Insight Planning and Development worked with the operators of Range Brewing to scout a site that would be ideal for starting a Brewery, engaged with Council to work through the required information to get the application over the line, managed environment, noise, architecture, engineering and landscape consultants to put forward a well-made development application, and consulted with the local community and the local Councillor to receive endorsement for the prospect. 

The hard work paid off with the application approved in late 2017 and the brewery starting operations in early 2018. 

The Brewery was such a success that we were back in 2021 and 2022 to expand the brewing volume and take over the adjacent building to cater for more customers.

Range Brewing remains an icon of Newstead, providing excellent beer and food and a great venue for celebrations or unwinding at the end of the week. Insight Planning and Development is proud to be a part of helping this dream come alive for the owners of Range Brewing.
