From lodged to approved in 8 months, this development was a test of the city of Moreton Bay’s updated rules for Multiple Dwellings, as well as a test for introducing a 3 storey townhouse into Kallangur’s market.
Achieving 10 units on the site for a development density of 70 dwellings per hectare or 1 dwelling / 141sqm of land, the yield on the site is truly maximised.
The development process demonstrated Council is seeking compliant car parking and a single well located piece of communal open space, with relaxations to setbacks suitable where engineering works and amenity is addressed through good landscape outcomes.
